Happy almost Earth Day friends!
Lots of people ask me Where do you get your ideas, you know… find your inspiration?
Personally, my inspiration comes from every which way. It’s a blessing and curse depending on how you look at it because it can take me in a million different directions all at the same time.
Truth be told, I get a lot of my ideas while I’m driving my daughters here and there to after school activities.
I don’t know what it is about being behind the wheel that gets those creative juices flowing but it does. It always does.
And, of course, I have my favorites online. There are plenty of resources on the web to keep those fresh ideas coming as a pretty good clip too. One of the very best I’ve found is Hometalk.
Hometalk is the largest online home & garden knowledge hub where you’ll find hundreds of thousands of home enthusiasts & professionals to keep your inspiration fueled.
Plus, you can get firsthand experience & advice from professionals, DIY bloggers like moi and home owners just like y-o-u all in one place.
It’s free to join, easy to navigate and lots of fun.
Here are my Earthy upcycles on the curated board:
a pretty Earth Day craft you can make
repurposing empty water bottles waiting in your recycling bin
And, for a few of my favorites, check out:
a Wreath from book pages by the dynamo Dria of Dio Home Improvements
fun/funky 5 minute repurpose project by none other than the fabulous Funky Junk Donna
an easy How to upcycle painted figurines by sweet Wendi of H2O Bungalow
Upcycling a pallet to a Vertical Herb Garden by the talented Jennifer of PinkWhen
How to make an American Flag from a pallet by awesome Amanda of mommy is coocoo
How about that for some Earth Day DIY?!
I’ve gotta run; there’s a pallet I’ve had in my garage since last summer, calling me name. 😉
So, where do you find your inspiration? I’d love to hear.
