“Creativity is contagious. Pass it on.” – Albert Einstein
I love that quote. Don’t you?
Well, today’s the day it’s more true than ever because a wonderful group of 25 bloggers have come together from around the globe to share their creativity with you, right here, right now. Let’s go!
Now for my DIY project, I had the spark of an idea to repurpose something but not just anything. I received it as a gift a long time and it holds a special place in my heart. It was a Tiffany lamp that my in laws gave the hubs and I for our 1st home and it hung over our kitchen table for 15 years! The problem is when we built our current home, it just didn’t go. I could never find a place for it. But I love it so I kept it in a box because… you just never know.

I knew I was onto finding it a new home right when I gently removed the 3 lightbulb base and chain using needlenose pliers, and flipped it upside down. What a great planter that would make! I love all the colors and it makes me happy to see it put to a new use in our tiny backyard.
To give it the pizzaz (and the height) I wanted I took the base of an old wrought iron table I had out in the garage and spray painted it in Tropical Oasis by Valspar. Next, I just put a couple of pavers inside the base or bowl to give it stability and boom a place a beautiful potted bromeliad inside.
I couldn’t love it more!
Do you see a repurposing project in your future using something you can’t bear to part with? I’d love to hear.
Now for true inspiration
