Thank you Monrovia for sponsoring today’s post and inspiring me to do a little gardening with your beautiful plants!
Putting on my garden gloves always make me think of my grandmother. Honor is her name; she’s a very special lady. Growing up I spent many a happy day with my grandmother watering, weeding and planting in her lush and lovely garden. And, though I was not blessed with her incredibly green thumb, I’m reminded as we celebrate her birthday this week (94 years young!) of the real joy of gardening she has given to me. Thanks Grandma, I love you and Happy Birthday!
How to create Big impact in your Tiny green Space with Monrovia plants
I may not have grandma’s gorgeous garden but our little slice of green space gives me the same sense of purpose and enjoyment. I really do revel in sitting out here and soak it in. And one thing I know for sure, regardless of size or season, is…
there’s a ton of fun to be had in the planning! It’s exciting to envision what I would like to do to improve our tiny yard this Spring and Summer.
It’s still early though (and the pollen is at an all time high, yuck) so I decided sprucing up our pots was the best place to get things started! And like Grandma taught me, I knew exactly what I needed to do!
On a quick trip to my neighborhood Lowes, I found a big, beautiful selection of Monrovia plants! The colors and textures of their variegated plants really caught my eye. I knew Monrovia’s fancy bromeliad was exactly what my plan needed to jump start my improvement plan for this season’s garden.
All that it required was a little potting soil in one of my favorite blue pots and she was ready to go.
Create big impact in my tiny green space. I really have respect the quality of the Monrovia plants.
Green thumb or not, be sure to check out Monrovia‘s website for wonderful tips on preparing and choosing the best plants for your region and how to keep them growing healthy in your space.
