Looking for a fun, upcycyle craft for this beautiful morning, my friends?! What’s that, you ask? You know it’s when you use something in a way other than it’s orginal intended use and your make it into something entirely different like these coffee filters I made into a DIY Paper Flower Wreath.
Using little bathroom-sized Solo paper cups, I strung floral wire through tiny holes I made in center of each cup to make the base of the all-paper-flower wreath.
Using white and brown coffee filters from the Dollar store, I created hundred of individual paper flowers that I hot glued together. Then I trimmed the plain edges to make them look like flowers. It took a bit of doing…I was going for a hydrangea-look, what do you think? It’s hydrangea like, right? 😉
There you have it!
I have to admit, I love how my DIY Paper Flower Wreath turned out! But the truth is, it took sooo long for me to make and I burned by fingers on the hot glue too many times when I was making the flowers! Hence, the Lack O’ step-by-step pics of the process! boo! But, I promise if you have any questions on how to make one yourself, I’d be more than happy to help! Just email me at FreshIdeaStudio@gmail.com or let me know in the comments below.
Now on to today’s Holiday Extravaganza.
Wouldn’t you just love to make Jennifer’s DIY Dinner Napkins for your Thanksgiving table?! I love the saying she chose, it’s perfect.
While we’re talking turkey day…wouldn’t Kimber’s Conversation Starters be a great addition to your Thanksgiving table?! Such a fun, free printable!
And, Amy’s Thanksgiving Pillow Makeovers are so cute and cozy for this time of year, they make me want to sit down with a nice big piece of pumpkin pie and snuggle in for awhile!
Scratch the pumpkin pie! Make that a few of Kim’s delicious Homemade Oreos instead! 😉
