What do you call it, Fall or Autumn? Either way, I love this season, don’t you?! To jump start our early Autumn decorating I thought I’d ease into the change of seasons with a super easy DIY Monogram Pumpkin.
You know I’m always up for a good monogram project regardless of the time of the year and today I’m joining some very talented friends for our fabulous Fall Decor Home Tour! So let’s get right to my 5 minute project so you can pay them a visit together.
First, allow me preface this by letting you in on a little secret: Living in Florida is awesome.
But.
We have a serious lack of seasonal changes. obviously
Palm trees, sea shells, sunshine and seafood, sure we’ve got it.
Vibrant orange, reds and yellows on our trees to mark the passage from Summer fun to football and festivities, not so much.
But, that’s fine with me. No complaint here for two reasons:
1. You can always get on a jet plane and travel to see the leaves and feel cooler temperatures. (Oh 10 degrees cooler would be sooo nice right about now!)
2. You can always decorate, decorate, decorate for a season, anyway!
Where was I? Oh, back to the pumpkin project…
I mentioned this was ultra easy, right?
One plastic pumpkin, a 29 cent piece of felt, scissors and basic glue is all you need for this DIY.
I used a cute metal F I keep above my desk in the office as my font inspiration but really the sky’s the limit on fonts these days.
Super simple, right?! It doesn’t get any easier than that, my friends.
In less than 15 minutes, I moved a few things around, changed up our chalk board a bit to had myself a little Fall vignette going in a corner of our kitchen.
And, just in case you’re the curious type, here’s the same spot last Fall and the Project How-To for our metallic striped pumpkins DIY Inspirational Art

Here’s to wishing you and yours an awesome Autumn (or Fall whichever you prefer) 😉

aww, Thanks Christy! You’re right, it’s still sweltering here but I’m doing the Fall thing anyway. And, that rug has been one of my best Lowe’s finds ever. I love that crazy paisley thing. 😉
Therese this is great. I’m getting into easy project lately and this is perfect. We live in 4 seasons in the mountains of AZ and my body is getting use to the seasons. Autumn is my favorite. Thanks for joining the tour. ~Jeanette
