Happy Spring! The calendar says it’s Spring but it’s still chilly outside. I’m itching to get out in my yard, plant some flowers, spruce things up a bit with color. What to do? What to do? An easy DIY Project: Upcycling Water Bottles, of course.
Let’s do something with those empty water bottles and make a…Happy Spring Wreath from Upcycled Water Bottles
That’s what you were thinking, right? OK, maybe not. But my youngest, AK3, and I were looking at all our empties and decided we’d do a bit of upcycling fun! Or, at least easier on the eye that before…
We all have those bottles ready for recycling, just sitting there, waiting but not really inspiring anything creative. My girls and I like to use recycled materials in our rainy (or in this case, chilly ) day crazy craftiness. But the bottles were so well, plastic and nothing was striking our fancy. So I thought about it for a bit, googled awhile and decided to search water bottle flowers on Pinterest . Flowers! That’s it!
We set out sorting through our stash and then I remembered something I’d read like last summer about using a pool noodle on one of my favorite blogs. Which one though? I thought it was on In My Own Style because Diane is super creative. I poked around in her archives but couldn’t find it. Rats! And then it came to me, it was actually on ReFresh Restyle when Debbie introduced Pool Noodle Party. I finally had the inspiration I needed; thanks to blogland.
But would a pool noodle as the base for a wreath work for our water bottle flowers?
