The Season on Hustle & Bustle: Thanks, Ho-Ho-Ho & Happy New Year!!!
Every year we count our blessings on Thanksgiving and for this I am grateful. But then I feel like life becomes a mad dash to deck the halls, find the perfect presents, rush to the kid’s holiday performances and still send out our family Christmas card before the New Year arrives. What I want is less hectic and more laid-back! What I need is extra time to savor the moments and I have a plan: a stress-free impromptu get-together! Host a last-minute holiday party with panache in between all hustle & bustle so we can actually enjoy the holidays more this year.
It’s super easy to pull off a spontaneous yet stylish get together at your house anytime with a little help from the NABISCO Party Planner and my Holiday Entertaining Checklist. Over the weekend, our family and friends started arriving in town for Thanksgiving. The perfect time to kick off my plan! I jumped online found a new favorite recipe (thanks Nabisco Party Planner – great coupons btw) and made a quick trip to Publix for a few party essentials. Then I made this YUM!

Decorate using stuff you already have like:
A roll of pretty wrapping paper across the kitchen island
A shiny tray
A cake dome or 2
And candles, of course!
Set the mood by dimming the lights, play your favorite tunes in the background and you’re all set.
