Truth be told & the long-overdue teen room checklist.
OK, here’s the deal.
Of course, everybody knows the person (or persons) being nagged, HATE. IT.
But guess what?
The nagger doesn’t enjoy nagging, either! Not that I’m speaking from personal experience or anything.
But being a mother of 3 daughters, two of which are teenagers and the youngest being, shall we say, sweet & sassy just like her mom, it can get messy. Plenty of “yell talking”. Not fun.
With that being said, wrap your head around the constant drone coming from this Type-A Mother regarding all of the clothes our 3 princesses have left on the floor, the gobs of toothpaste stuck in the sink, shoes I’ve tripped over, makeup, hair accessories, candy-wrappers…need I go on!? Nope, not at the risk of resurrecting my former-Nagy self. That’s right! The hubs & I have a secret. We finally got our over-indulged, intelligent little sweethearts to pick up there own mess!
NOTICE the last few words before love, mom? Yep! That’s the magic bullet we found works best in our house.
Of course, your kid’s motivator could be any number of things. Just write it in at the bottom. Tape it to their bathroom mirror and watch what happens.
I’ll be the 1st to admit.
It took our girls over a week to GET WITH THE PROGRAM! But, I have 2 words that kept me going STRONG & SILENT. No nagging!
Try it! And tell me what you think.
